Takasakiyama in Oita, is one of the most popular sites to visit for both local and foreign tourists. In this open place, monkeys are free to move around. You can see them climbing the tree, sitting on the roof, swimming in the pool and on pathways. They are completely free.
People in Japan are now enjoying the National Holidays popularly known as Golden Week. These Holidays begin today and will last until Friday, with the weekend as bonus. So, since this is an opportunity to travel around, I decided to bring my family to Imari City, in Saga prefecture on day 1.
