Pilar is one of the towns in the province of Capiz. It has a long history. It started as a small settlement in the 16th century but when the Spaniards came, they took over the village.
My quick stopover
On my way to my hometown, I stopped over in the historic town of Pilar. It was an early morning stopover so I could even feel the cool breeze of the wet season all over the place. The dew was still on the roses. Wherever I put my eyes, I could see green. The view was just fantastic.
