Sailing is one of the activities I really enjoy whenever I visit the world-famous Island of Boracay in the Philippines. This water activity is environment-friendly, safe, and the sailboat rental is very much cheaper than the motorized boats.

  1. Thanks for following my blog! This sailing looks awesome! What kind of boat is that? I have sailed a class 10, a Columbia 50, and a 6 meter boat that was a miniature version of the America’s cup 1 meters. No motor. I now have a very frisky 17 footer, which is just fine for our local lakes. If you are interested in sailing you might want to visit Byrdwords Blog. He loves to sail and did his A-Z Challenge this year on all things nautical.

  2. When I was in grae school in bauan, Batangas in the 70s, there was a Luisa Quijano in my class. It may be farfetched to expect you to be related but your name did bring memories from long ago. 🙂

    1. Hello, Imelda. That might be possible. Though my roots were originally from Iloilo, but I’ve been to Bauan several times and met some distant relatives there.
