Waiting for someone…

God is love, Travel

Waiting is painful. I have experienced waiting for someone I really love several times: it’s not easy. I think it’s one of the hardest things to do, most especially if you have waited for so long.

Look at the dog in the photo. I met this dog in Batangas, Philippines.

One fisherman told me that this dog has been there for 2 days: patiently waiting for his owner to come back. I’ve learned something from this wonderful creäture.

  1. Reblogged this on penpowersong and commented:
If a dog can have patience to wait…how much more for a human being, waiting and hoping for a loved one to come home from a battlefield somewhere in a far-flung village of Mindanao…?

  2. I agree with you.
It’s hard to wait, but the absolute reward of waiting is priceless.
The moment we see the one we’ve been waiting for, we can forget everything.
I imagine the time when kids reunite with their father who has been away.
